Local actors

Because it is essential and urgent that each economic actor makes a concrete commitment to an environmental approach; we make the choice of transparency by presenting you the main local actors with whom we work. This list is not exhaustive :

The beer hut
14120 Mondeville
Logo of La Case, independent wine merchant, founded in 2005.

François, the owner of La Case à Bières, is the specialist in spirits and local beers. It is thanks to him that we work with the Aunay-sur-Odon brewery.

He also advises us on the whiskeys and rums that you will find in the hotel bar. The selection changes regularly as the bottles empty!

There are some essentials like Bowsaw bourbon which replaces Jack Daniels, whiskeys from around the world, Irish, Scottish, etc. In short, fans will find what they are looking for!

GIN Normindia
50600 Milly
Logo of Domaine du Coquerel, representing a traditional house with the mention of its family history since 1931.

This gin there… How good it is! Dry, on the rocks, with tonic or in our signature cocktail, we very often offer it to our customers. The English love it, that's to say! To avoid spoiling anything, it is produced at the Domaine du Coquerel located in the south of the Channel. To come and discover without delay.

Teurgoule de Janville 14270 Cesny-aux-Vignes
Logo of Teurgoule de Janville, representing the authentic Norman dessert founded in 1991.

When you come to Normandy, do not miss the teurgoule. The essential dessert of our beautiful Normandy. The ingredients are simple: rice, cinnamon, sugar and local whole milk. Cooking in a large earthenware bowl is slow and passionate. We salivate in front of the oven for long hours. The tasting is worth it. Maison Janville has become a Master in the Art of Teurgoule, which sits proudly on our breakfast buffet.

Bières de l'Odon
14260 Aunay Sur Odon
Logo of the Brasserie de l'Odon, representing a beer and a bottle, on a yellow background.

The Odon brewery is one of the first breweries to be known in our area. They offer high-fermentation organic beers rich in aromas and fragrances! And they are regularly awarded at the General Agricultural Competition in Paris! That tells you the quality! To taste with your eyes closed in blond, brown, triple, amber, pale, … Refreshing as you wish but in moderation!

Embrin Lin
76550 Ambrumesnil
Logo of the Hôtel Libéra in Caen-Colombelles, representing a modern and elegant design.

In our Exclusive rooms, a beautiful Normandy linen bedding set sits proudly. What could be more pleasant than enjoying this natural and comforting contact. Linen is a material that wants to be sustainable and local. Once tested it is to adopt it!

The snails of the OdOn
14260 Seulline
Two stylized snails against a background of clean curves, representing a modern and artistic design.

At Christmas time and more generally during the winter period, Thierry, our Chef, likes to offer our customers Odon snails with garlic butter. He gets his supplies directly from the Boulevard Leroy market in Caen, which takes place every Saturday morning.

The breeding, slaughter and preparation of the snails are carried out by Jean-François and Christine. They even make their own garlic butter!

You will find all the information about them on their site and for the tasting it's with us!

Fresh fish: Profish – TopAtlantique
14460 Colombelles
Profish logo with a fish and a lobster, highlighting the seafood business.

Wholesaler in seafood products, they advise us and offer us a wide range of fish and shellfish. Not two days ago they delivered a nice hamper of oysters from the Bay of Asnelles. In season, the mackerel comes from Trouville-sur-Mer and the red mullet from Ouistreham.

Madeleines Jeannette
14460 Colombelles
Logo of Biscuiterie Jeannette, founded in 1850, on a gray background with stylized text.

Les Madeleines Jeannette have a special place on our breakfast buffet but also in our hearts! They are developed not even 100 meters as the crow flies from the hotel. In Colombelles, it is an institution. Do not hesitate to make a small detour there before leaving, it will make you a gourmet memory of Normandy.

Norman AOP jams and cheeses: Annie Colin
14140 Livarot
Wooden platter with cheese, bread, egg and honey.

At breakfast, Annie and Pascal Colin's homemade jams are in the spotlight! Whether with milk, cider, various fruits, violets, apples; their jams are to die for and spread on a beautiful buttered baguette for purists. Pascal also selected the 3 Lords of Normandy: Livarot, Pont-l'Evêque and Camembert present on our dessert buffet.

Don't look for a website to contact them, their social network is the Sunday market at the Caen marina!

Artisanal cider and apple juice
14590 Ouilly du Houley
"La Ribaude" logo representing two smiling apples, one red and one green, with a playful and colorful touch.

In Normandy, there are no meadows without apple trees. In the heart of the Pays d'Auge is the Domaine de la Ribaude. Apples and pears are kings there and ORGANIC. Whether the juices are still or sparkling, they tickle the taste buds. To be found on the bar menu with the famous “Calvados”. Take a look at their online store, there is an unimaginable range of cider products.

Pasta, the famous Maltotaises
14930 Maltot
Logo of “Le Moulin de Thibo & Caro”, an artisanal bakery with a stylized label and an ear of wheat.

“Le Moulin de Thibo et Caro” is the local star! Long before their appearance on M6 in “La Meilleure Boulangerie de France” we supplied ourselves with Maltotaises from them. Rustic pasta that they make using the wheat they grow. Farmer by day, miller by night!

Our Chef garnishes them with pesto, chanterelles, Livarot, depending on his mood in fact!

To be enjoyed without moderation this time!
